Review and discuss the Final Draft of the Stakeholder Communication and Engagement Plan (CEP) and recommend its adoption by the Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA).

Review of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document, discuss the use of FAQs, the process to provide additional questions and recommendations to staff.

Committee Secretary and Facilitator request the Committee appoint a 5-7 member ad-hoc subcommittee (Workgroup) to explore and identify management tools and policies that may be implemented to ensure the sustainability of groundwater in the Napa Valley Subbasin.

Committee Secretary and Facilitator requests the Committee receive and discuss two presentations related to addressing climate change in groundwater sustainability planning; the first presentation will be provided by Paul Wells, Branch Manager of the California Department of Water Resources, and the second presentation will be provided by Dr. Lisa Micheli, of the Pepperwood Foundation, and Lorraine Flint, USGS Emeritus.

Committee Secretary requests the following:

  1. Receive revised Draft Section 3 (November 3, 2020) of the Napa Valley Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) and discuss revisions made, and 
  2. Rreceive a summary of comments received on Draft Sections 4 and 5 of the GSP during the initial comment period.
