COMMENT
In this time period, anyone may address the Board of
Supervisors regarding any subject over which the Board has jurisdiction but
which is not on today's agenda. Individuals will be limited to a
three-minute presentation. No
action will be taken by the Board of Supervisors as a result of any item
presented at this time.

Director of Emergency Services and Emergency Services Manager to
provide update on current earthquake response and recovery issues.
5.
Adoption of the following two resolutions confirming the following
relating to the Countywide emergency due to the earthquake:
A.
Proclamation of local emergency by the County Administrative Officer at
5:01 A.M. on September 3, 2000; and
B.
Determination by the County Administrative Officer that locally available
resources are inadequate to cope with the emergency and confirming a letter
directed to the Governor requesting the Governor proclaim a state of emergency
in Napa County and further requesting that the Governor request the President
to declare that a major disaster and/or emergency exists in Napa County.
