County Executive Officer requests discussion and possible action on AB 229 (Nazarian), a bill that would require the California Department of Social Services to translate all web content and notices to In-Home Supportive Services providers in the State's threshold languages.

County Executive Officer requests the following related to proposals that impact 1991 Realignment Funding:

  1. Discussion and possible direction on the Governor's In-Home Support Services Proposal; and
  2. Discussion and possible direction on the Governor's proposal to redirect County Medical Services Program funds.

County Executive Officer requests discussion and possible direction on SB 670 (McGuire), a bill that would amend the Government Code and require a provider of telecommunications services that provides access to 911 service, to provide responder outage notification by electronic mail to the Office of Emergency Services whenever an outage occurs limiting the provider’s customers’ ability to make 911 calls or receive emergency notifications.

County Executive Officer requests discussion and possible direction on AB 252 (Daly), a bill that would repeal the sunset date for the State of California's limited waiver of sovereign immunity, which is necessary to allow the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) to continue its assumption of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) responsibilities.
